Hot chilli pepper cream is much valued in southern part of Italy. We also produce a version of this cream. We use fresh, hot chilli peppers from our own plantation for its production. We carefully wash them, cut out the seeds, then we cook at 92 degrees, mix and add extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, salt and potato starch, which gives it the creamy consistency. The consumption of hot chilli peppers is recommended due to their high content of vitamins and antioxidants, as well as the natural capsaicin.
Keep in a cool and dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
It is recommended as an addition to appetisers such as “bruschetta”, to fresh and maturing cheeses, meat and barbecued fish or vegetables.
