Freshly cut tomatoes are joined with tomatoes dried in the sun during hot, Sicilian summer, with almonds and a small quantity of virgin olive oil which integrates all the tastes. The uniqueness of this pesto lies in combining the sweetness of fresh tomatoes with the savoury taste of dried tomatoes.
Keep in a cool and dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
It does not need to be cooked. It can be used as an addition to pasta or for appetisers such as “bruschetta”.
