There isn’t a respectable bar, cake shop, or ice-cream parlour that wouldn’t offer a glass of cool, refreshing almond milk during scorching sunny days.
The drink made of almond concentrate is extremely energising.
In the past almonds used to be shelled and pounded in a mortar.
The resultant mass would be put into a linen cloth which served as a filter.
Then the cloth would be immersed in water several times, until white liquid - the almond milk - would appear.
Although contemporary methods of production are more modern, almond milk still remains a noble drink with velvet taste.
Thanks to ready-made preparation you can prepare such milk at home quickly and easily.
Suffice it to dissolve 200g of preparation into a glass of cool water (it can be aided with a mixer), and then pour cold water so as to obtain 1 litre of milk.
This preparation can also be used as an addition to almond granitas, puddings, cakes, ice-cream and creams.
