What needs to be done to restore farming its true meaning…
We are convinced that direct contact between a producer and a consumer plays the key role in the process of restoring farming its true meaning. It is important, that work on farm is not only perceived as one of market’s production systems, but that it becomes a crucial activity in the process of nature preservation, our awareness and history. Producer, who is taken advantage of, will soon start taking advantage of the environment and its natural resources – which means breaking its law. In order to stop and redirect this vicious circle, we need our customers to be aware and critical. We have to remember that everything that we eat has its social consequences, and that every purchase contributes to either improving or worsening our lifestyles and production techniques. At the other end of the “food chain” it is very important to produce knowingly, without having to break the law. Companies which function in such a way are going to become a solid foundation of a healthy society. Agricultural producers who have suitable resources, may become patrons of community and rural culture. Thereby, they may contribute to changing the image of farmer profession, which is often regarded as simple and unrewarding.
Our aim is to promote a healthy food culture and production
Apart from coordinating commercial producers and logistics, our aim is to promote a healthy food culture and production. Education, which task is to describe healthy nutrition based on four seasons and understanding biological diversity, is also of great importance. Our goal is to educate producers in order to popularize sustainable production. We promote entrepreneurship free of mafia influences, that would involve our area residents, schools and other companies to create new “models of success”: less individual and conformist, and more noble and fair.
