This box is assorted with a 2 Kg bag of Hass avocados, 2 kg of clementine Nova and the remainder is filled with 7,5 Kg of organic Tarocco oranges. The Hass avocado is a pear-shaped fruit that is characterized by a rugged, coarse, dark green peel that tends towards black as it continues to ripen. The pulp is very creamy, without fibers, with a pale green color and an intense taste. The Nova clementine distinguishes itself due to its very few seeds, its bigger dimension in comparison to regular tangerines, its thin, intensely orange peel, and its decisively sweet taste. The Tarocco orange is the most renown of the red pulp oranges. The pulp is a dappled yellow, red color, depending on the sub-variety and the harvest time. The smell and taste are very delicate, the pulp has few fibers and can be eaten with pleasure, the nutritional values are excellent, as with other red oranges, and the fruit does not have seeds. As with other pigmented citrus fruits, the Tarocco orange becomes red due to the influences of the climate from the volcano Etna across the Lentini-Catania plain. The harvest period runs overall from December to the end of April. This assorted package costs a bit less than a personalized box with the same components because we make a lot of them, one after the other. For this reason when ordering a standard, assorted box, it is not possible to select the farmer, otherwise the work would become more complicated and expensive.
